Chiropractor
Dr Jed Thomsen
Originally from New Zealand, Dr Jed Thomsen developed a passion for chiropractic through his own health journey and a lifelong interest in natural health and wellbeing. Coming from a family of healthcare practitioners, he takes a holistic approach focused on nervous system health, movement and long-term wellbeing.
Dr Jed Thomsen grew up in New Zealand, where an active lifestyle and a strong appreciation for natural health were part of everyday life. Coming from a family of healthcare practitioners, Jed was exposed to holistic wellbeing from an early age. His mother is an acupuncturist and his brother is an osteopath, helping shape his interest in understanding the body and supporting people to live healthier lives.
Jed completed his chiropractic studies in New Zealand and was inspired to pursue chiropractic after experiencing its benefits firsthand during his own health journey. Through that experience, he developed a passion for helping people move better, feel better and get back to doing the activities they enjoy most.
Growing up surfing and playing a variety of sports, Jed understands the importance of keeping the body functioning at its best. His approach focuses on improving nervous system function, supporting overall wellbeing and creating long-term health outcomes rather than simply providing short-term symptom relief.
Jed enjoys working with people of all ages and backgrounds and is passionate about helping patients achieve their individual health and lifestyle goals. Whether someone wants to return to sport, improve their daily function, manage ongoing discomfort or optimise their overall wellbeing, Jed enjoys helping them make meaningful and lasting progress.
Outside the clinic, Jed enjoys hiking, training at the gym, surfing and staying active outdoors. After moving to Sydney for new opportunities and the excitement of a larger city lifestyle, he is excited to be part of the Clinic 27 team and to support patients on their journey towards better health.
